Jack is a genuine all rounder. He has had a long break from competition and was back in work just 5 weeks before heading to Coonabarabran North West Equestrian Expo where he was an absolute gem for my 16 yr old daughter. He placed 4th in his first ever 60cm ODE, with a clear round in show jump and an awesome Xcountry. He then placed 4th in the working horse challenge, taking the top score in the utility section.
On the last day of Expo he was resting quietly in his stable when I realised one of our NEGS riders was without a mount for the show program. He was pulled out of the stable 45 minutes before his class, plaited and preped in record time and then our 13yr old NEGS rider climbed aboard, had time for a 3 minute warm up and then went out and won his class and was sashed Reserve Champion Showhunter Galloway with two beautiful workouts.
Jack also had two Ag show outings prior to this as a warm-up for Expo, in the Showhunter Galloway ring. He was sashed Champion Showhunter Galloway at both shows (Wee Waa and Bingara).
We use him at home to muster our sheep and take our working dogs for a run. He leads from a quad and is a lovely easy boy to work with.
